Goen Tshephu Ney is a sacred cave of longevity where Guru Rinpoche first met Buddha Amitayus, heard his message, and received longevity blessings. The Ney is located in Goenshari Gewog under Punakha Dzongkhag at 2413 meters above sea level.
Aja Menchu is the medicinal spring water at Aja Ney created by Guru Rinpoche, believed to cure 18 different diseases (nayrig-chobgay), located at an altitude of 2513 meters above sea level in Serzhong Gewog under Mongar Dzongkhag.
Dzongdrakha Goenpa is a sacred cliff of Guru Rinpoche above the two villages of Bonday and Gyepjag under Paro Dzongkhag, blessed during his second visit to Bhutan in 822 A.D from Tibet. This sacred Dzongdrakha Goemba is located at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level.
Dra Zhi are the four great meditation cliffs of Guru Rinpoche in Bumthang Dzongkhag, where he meditated before subduing Shelging Karpo, the local deity of Bumthang, who took the life force (sog) of King Sindhu Raja.
Shugdra (also spelled Shuk Drak Goenpa) is one of Guru Rimpoche’s four cliffs (Dra-Zhi) located in the upper Choekhor-toed valley under Kharsa village of Bumthang at an elevation of 2680 meters. Dra Karpo is a sacred cliff where Guru Rinpoche broke and dispelled an evil spirit in the 8th century. This holy cliff, also known as the mini-Taktsang, is situated in Shaba Deyangkha of Dogar Gewog, under Paro Dzongkhag, at an elevation of 2,663 meters above sea level.
Chubu Tshachu is a hot spring discovered by Guru Rinpoche in the 8th century. It is located at the foot of the spire-shaped hill, the abode of the Tsachu Deity, Ap Khachhep, at an elevation of 1737 meters above sea level in Wolathang of Toedwang Gewog under Punakha Dzongkhag.
Chumphu Ney is a meditation place of Guru Rinpoche. It was originally known as Chumophug, “cave of holy water.” The Chumphu Nye was discovered by His Holiness the 9th Je Khenpo of Bhutan, Shakya Rinchen.
Bumdrak is a sacred cliff of Guru Rinpoche where Dakinis, the Goddess of the Fairies, are said to have left 100,000 footprints located at an altitude of 3500 masl in Tsento Gewog under Paro Dzongkhag.
